What is home care?

BIMC home care is professional medical care delivered in the patient’s own home by licensed professionals — nurses, doctors or physiotherapists — helping you recover and stay well without a hospital stay.

It covers clinical procedures such as wound care, IV infusions and injections, nursing care, physiotherapy, lab sampling and vaccinations. It is not a live-in service, and does not include help with daily activities such as bathing or eating.

If you’ve recently been treated at BIMC, the team can follow up on your post-hospital care — changing dressings, giving medication and IV therapy on schedule, and monitoring your recovery.
